Mientras que las piezas opacas simplemente reflejan la luz, los sustratos transparentes la transmiten, la refractan y la polarizan. El vidrio est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para permitir que la luz viaje directamente a trav\u00e9s de \u00e9l, lo que hace que las t\u00e9cnicas est\u00e1ndar de iluminaci\u00f3n frontal sean casi in\u00fatiles. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los ingenieros se enfrentan a tres grandes obst\u00e1culos:<\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Reflexi\u00f3n especular<\/strong>: Las superficies muy pulidas generan \u00abpuntos calientes\u00bb que deslumbran al sensor de la c\u00e1mara.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bajo contraste<\/strong>: Defectos como burbujas transparentes o ara\u00f1azos comparten el mismo color que el fondo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Refracci\u00f3n<\/strong>: La forma curva de muchos objetos de vidrio (botellas, por ejemplo) desv\u00eda la luz creando distorsiones \u00f3pticas que pueden confundirse con defectos.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modo de transmisi\u00f3n: Retroiluminaci\u00f3n para encontrar defectos internos<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La configuraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s extendida y fiable para materiales transparentes es el <strong>modo de transmisi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Colocar un retroiluminador LED uniforme, como la<strong> serie BL3 de RODER<\/strong>, justo detr\u00e1s del objeto permite que el sistema funcione bajo el principio de oclusi\u00f3n de la luz. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A medida que la luz atraviesa el vidrio, cualquier impureza interna \u2014una piedra, una inclusi\u00f3n met\u00e1lica o una burbuja de tama\u00f1o considerable\u2014 la bloquea o la dispersa. Esto produce una mancha oscura de alto contraste sobre un campo blanco brillante, de modo que el software de visi\u00f3n se\u00f1ala un \u00abfallo\u00bb en el momento en que aparece. Es el est\u00e1ndar de referencia para confirmar los niveles de llenado de l\u00edquidos y detectar contaminantes en la producci\u00f3n de alimentaci\u00f3n y bebidas.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modo de reflexi\u00f3n: Detecci\u00f3n de recubrimientos y ara\u00f1azos superficiales<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mientras que la transmisi\u00f3n examina a trav\u00e9s del vidrio, el <strong>modo de reflexi\u00f3n<\/strong> analiza su superficie. Esta t\u00e9cnica es clave para comprobar recubrimientos especializados (por ejemplo, capas antirreflectantes o hidr\u00f3fobas) y para detectar ara\u00f1azos superficiales finos que no traspasan el grosor del material. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al ajustar la luz en un \u00e1ngulo de incidencia espec\u00edfico, la c\u00e1mara capta la luz que rebota en la superficie. Cualquier interrupci\u00f3n en el recubrimiento o ara\u00f1azo f\u00edsico altera el patr\u00f3n de reflexi\u00f3n, de modo que el defecto aparece como un destello brillante o un vac\u00edo oscuro. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Iluminaci\u00f3n de campo oscuro para inclusiones y microburbujas<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cuando los defectos se reducen por debajo de 0,1 mm, la retroiluminaci\u00f3n ordinaria puede \u00abdeslavar\u00bb el fallo. Aqu\u00ed es donde la iluminaci\u00f3n de <strong>campo oscuro<\/strong> demuestra toda su eficacia. En una configuraci\u00f3n de campo oscuro, la luz se sit\u00faa en un \u00e1ngulo bajo para no entrar directamente en el objetivo de la c\u00e1mara.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En una pieza de vidrio sin imperfecciones, la c\u00e1mara ve \u00fanicamente negro. Pero si hay una micro-burbuja o una peque\u00f1a inclusi\u00f3n, esta dispersa la luz hacia el objetivo y el defecto brilla intensamente sobre un fondo completamente negro. El m\u00e9todo es insuperable para la inspecci\u00f3n de precisi\u00f3n de componentes \u00f3pticos.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">T\u00e9cnicas de iluminaci\u00f3n por bordes para paneles de vidrio plano<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para paneles grandes de vidrio plano, la <strong>iluminaci\u00f3n por bordes<\/strong> (o iluminaci\u00f3n lateral) es un enfoque altamente eficiente. La luz se introduce en el grosor del vidrio desde los laterales y, gracias a la <strong>reflexi\u00f3n interna total (TIR)<\/strong>, permanece atrapada en el interior de la estructura del vidrio. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donde haya una grieta, una mella o una marca grabada con l\u00e1ser en la superficie, la TIR se interrumpe y la luz se escapa en ese punto exacto. El defecto se ilumina intensamente, facilitando que el sistema de visi\u00f3n se\u00f1ale grietas estructurales que, de lo contrario, podr\u00edan provocar roturas catastr\u00f3ficas. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SWIR para la inspecci\u00f3n por transmisi\u00f3n en el infrarrojo cercano<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A veces, los defectos m\u00e1s peligrosos permanecen invisibles para el ojo humano y para los sensores CMOS est\u00e1ndar. La iluminaci\u00f3n e imagen por<strong> infrarrojo de onda corta (SWIR)<\/strong> abren la inspecci\u00f3n en el rango de 900 nm a 1700 nm.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El SWIR es especialmente \u00fatil para:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Inspeccionar pl\u00e1sticos opacos que se vuelven transparentes en el espectro IR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leer niveles de humedad o de l\u00edquido a trav\u00e9s de vidrio oscuro.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identificar recubrimientos qu\u00edmicos espec\u00edficos que responden \u00fanicamente a longitudes de onda infrarrojas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Luz polarizada para el an\u00e1lisis de birrefringencia por tensi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El vidrio es un \u00abl\u00edquido congelado\u00bb. Si se enfr\u00eda demasiado r\u00e1pido o se manipula de forma inadecuada, se acumulan tensiones internas. Estas tensiones permanecen invisibles bajo luz normal, pero pueden hacer que el vidrio se rompa por s\u00ed solo.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con<strong> luz polarizada<\/strong>, los fabricantes pueden realizar un <strong>an\u00e1lisis de birrefringencia por tensi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Colocar el vidrio entre dos polarizadores cruzados transforma los patrones de tensi\u00f3n interna en franjas de colores o bandas con efecto arco\u00edris.
