Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit couplent l&rsquo;\u00e9mission des LED au bord d&rsquo;une plaque de guidage de lumi\u00e8re, qui r\u00e9partit la lumi\u00e8re uniform\u00e9ment sur une surface d&rsquo;\u00e9mission fine. Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit placent une matrice de LED directement derri\u00e8re un diffuseur, les LED contribuant elles-m\u00eames directement \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9mission. Le choix entre les deux approches influe sur l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration m\u00e9canique, les performances optiques et le co\u00fbt d&rsquo;exploitation. Les deux r\u00e9alisations sont disponibles dans la famille des <a href=\"https:\/\/visiotronix.com\/fr\/products\/led-backlight-illuminators\/\">r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages LED<\/a>.    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principe de fonctionnement des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage edge-lit est constitu\u00e9 d&rsquo;une plaque de guidage de lumi\u00e8re transparente (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en acrylique ou en polycarbonate) avec des LED mont\u00e9es le long d&rsquo;un ou de plusieurs bords. L&rsquo;\u00e9mission des LED entre dans la plaque par le bord et s&rsquo;y propage par r\u00e9flexion totale interne, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que des \u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;extraction (microprismes, motifs de points ou points de diffusion grav\u00e9s au laser) redirigent la lumi\u00e8re hors de la face avant, vers la cible inspect\u00e9e. Un diffuseur plac\u00e9 devant la plaque homog\u00e9n\u00e9ise encore l&rsquo;\u00e9mission et produit un \u00e9clairage uniforme sur toute la zone active.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le principal avantage des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit est leur finesse : la plaque de guidage de lumi\u00e8re peut ne mesurer que quelques millim\u00e8tres d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur, pour une profondeur totale du r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage de 10 \u00e0 20 mm, montage lat\u00e9ral des LED et diffuseur compris. Cette compacit\u00e9 permet l&rsquo;installation dans des espaces exigus o\u00f9 les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit conventionnels ne trouveraient pas leur place. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uniformit\u00e9 et rendement d&rsquo;extraction<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;uniformit\u00e9 des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit est d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9cision des \u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;extraction. Des plaques de haute qualit\u00e9 aux motifs d&rsquo;extraction optimis\u00e9s atteignent une uniformit\u00e9 de \u00b15 % sur toute la zone active. Le rendement d&rsquo;extraction est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui des configurations direct-lit : 30 \u00e0 50 pour cent de l&rsquo;\u00e9mission des LED sont perdus par absorption et diffusion hors plan dans le guide de lumi\u00e8re.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Principe de fonctionnement des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage direct-lit est constitu\u00e9 d&rsquo;une matrice de LED r\u00e9parties sur un substrat, chaque LED \u00e9tant orient\u00e9e vers l&rsquo;avant, en direction de la cible inspect\u00e9e. Un diffuseur plac\u00e9 devant la matrice homog\u00e9n\u00e9ise l&rsquo;\u00e9mission et \u00e9limine les pics de luminosit\u00e9 discrets qui seraient sinon visibles au-dessus de chaque LED. L&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur d&rsquo;un r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage direct-lit est d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par la distance entre la matrice de LED et le diffuseur, qui doit \u00eatre suffisante pour permettre un m\u00e9lange ad\u00e9quat des \u00e9missions des diff\u00e9rentes LED.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le principal avantage des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit est l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 de cr\u00eate \u00e9lev\u00e9e disponible, car toutes les LED contribuent directement \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9mission frontale sans les pertes par absorption d&rsquo;un guide de lumi\u00e8re edge-lit. Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit peuvent \u00e9galement fonctionner en modes puls\u00e9 et overdrive avec une meilleure efficacit\u00e9, car chaque LED est pilot\u00e9e ind\u00e9pendamment et peut \u00eatre adress\u00e9e pour un stroboscopage synchronis\u00e9. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00c9paisseur et densit\u00e9 de LED<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur d&rsquo;un r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage direct-lit \u00e9volue avec le pas des LED et l&rsquo;uniformit\u00e9 requise. Des pas plus serr\u00e9s permettent des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages plus fins \u00e0 uniformit\u00e9 \u00e9gale, au prix d&rsquo;un nombre de LED et d&rsquo;un co\u00fbt plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit industriels typiques pr\u00e9sentent des \u00e9paisseurs de 30 \u00e0 80 mm, matrice de LED, diffuseur et bo\u00eetier compris.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crit\u00e8res de s\u00e9lection<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le choix entre edge-lit et direct-lit d\u00e9pend avant tout de la combinaison requise d&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur. Pour les applications exigeant une intensit\u00e9 maximale sur la cible sans contrainte d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur, les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit sont le choix naturel. Pour les applications exigeant des profils fins avec des besoins d&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 mod\u00e9r\u00e9s, les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit offrent des performances satisfaisantes dans un format compact.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La deuxi\u00e8me consid\u00e9ration concerne le mode de fonctionnement. Le fonctionnement puls\u00e9 et en overdrive est plus efficace avec les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit, o\u00f9 le pilotage individuel des LED est imm\u00e9diat. Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre puls\u00e9s, mais avec une intensit\u00e9 de cr\u00eate l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieure en raison des pertes par absorption dans le guide de lumi\u00e8re.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La troisi\u00e8me consid\u00e9ration concerne l&rsquo;exigence d&rsquo;uniformit\u00e9. Les deux technologies peuvent atteindre une excellente uniformit\u00e9, mais les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit sont plus faciles \u00e0 concevoir pour les tr\u00e8s grandes zones actives, o\u00f9 le guide de lumi\u00e8re edge-lit deviendrait inefficace. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consid\u00e9rations de co\u00fbt et de fiabilit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement moins co\u00fbteux pour les petits et moyens formats, car ils utilisent moins de LED. Les r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit deviennent plus \u00e9conomiques pour les grandes zones actives, o\u00f9 le nombre de LED d&rsquo;une matrice directe \u00e0 haute densit\u00e9 est similaire ou inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui n\u00e9cessaire pour \u00e9clairer par la tranche un grand guide de lumi\u00e8re. La fiabilit\u00e9 est comparable pour les deux technologies, le vieillissement des LED \u00e9tant le mode de d\u00e9faillance dominant dans les deux cas.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Int\u00e9gration et limites<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les deux technologies s&rsquo;int\u00e8grent comme des composants d&rsquo;\u00e9clairage autonomes, avec les m\u00eames interfaces m\u00e9caniques et \u00e9lectriques. La principale diff\u00e9rence d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration est l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur, qui peut d\u00e9terminer le choix lorsque l&rsquo;encombrement disponible est limit\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La principale limite des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages edge-lit est l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 maximale atteignable, limit\u00e9e par les pertes par absorption dans le guide de lumi\u00e8re. Pour les applications exigeant une intensit\u00e9 tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e afin de permettre des temps d&rsquo;exposition courts, les configurations direct-lit doivent \u00eatre privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es. La principale limite des r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairages direct-lit est l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur, qui peut \u00eatre incompatible avec les exigences d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration les plus compactes. Dans ces cas, les configurations edge-lit ou des conceptions direct-lit sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es \u00e0 profil bas et forte densit\u00e9 de LED constituent les alternatives disponibles, toutes deux d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es dans le cadre du portefeuille d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/visiotronix.com\/fr\/products\/custom-led-illuminators\/\">\u00e9clairages LED sur mesure<\/a> pour les exigences non
