The DL11 Series is the new-generation LED matrix direct illuminator of the VISIOTRONIX PHOTOLUX line, designed for OEMs and system integrators who need high, homogeneous brightness inside a confined machine space. Twelve standard formats from 25 × 100 mm to 100 × 300 mm, each with MCCD© per-column current control and HTTM© thermal management, in red, neutral white or blue.
- High-density LED matrix with integrated lens produces a direct, highly directional and homogeneous light beam
- MCCD© driver feeds every column of the matrix with its own constant-current source, for uniform luminance across the whole area
- HTTM© thermal material carries LED and driver heat into the housing, keeping luminous flux and colour stable over time
- Black anodised aluminium enclosure, slim and robust, doubles as the primary heat sink of the illuminator
- 24 Vdc supply through an M8 3-pin connector with threaded ring nut, for quick disconnection during maintenance
- Reverse polarity protection shields the internal circuits against incorrect connection of the power cables at commissioning
- 48-hour test cycle on every unit, delivered with its test certificate, IP40 rated, CE marked, 0° to 50° C
Why Choose DL11 Series
- MCCD© Multi Constant Current Driver: each column of the matrix has its own constant-current source, removing at the source the lateral luminance gradients that single-driver architectures leave in the image.
- HTTM© Thermal Management: an electrically insulating, high-conductivity layer bridges the LED board to the aluminium frame, keeping junction temperature low and chromatic coordinates stable over tens of thousands of hours.
- Entry-level cost, industrial build: the DL11 was designed for machine builders and integrators who need brightness and repeatability in a small space, without paying for functions a machine never uses.
- Twelve standard formats: active areas from 25 × 100 mm to 100 × 300 mm in red 630 nm, neutral white 5500 K and blue 465 nm, with sizes up to 25 × 800 mm available on request.
- Strobe-ready PWM input: a single ON/OFF-PWM line switches all columns simultaneously, which is what global-shutter cameras need to freeze parts in motion without inter-column jitter.

Do you want help choosing the right product?
The DL11 series is available in twelve standard formats, with active emission areas from 25 × 100 mm up to 100 × 300 mm — including the 25 × 500 mm long bar and the compact 50 × 50 mm square — in three LED wavelengths: RED 630 nm, WHITE neutral 5500 K and BLUE 465 nm, for a total of 36 ordering codes. Every unit runs at 24 Vdc through an industrial M8 3-pin connector. Larger formats up to 25 × 800 mm are available on request and may require longer production times.
Beyond direct illumination, the DL11 is frequently installed in low-angle configuration to reveal defects that other lighting modes leave invisible, and — with a diffuser placed at the right distance — it becomes a low-cost backlight with high luminosity. The diffuser is not a standard product. Full technical documentation and the ordering codes of the whole family are available for download below.

The DL11 series is available in three LED types: RED at 630 nm, neutral WHITE at 5500 K and BLUE at 465 nm. The choice depends on the material, the surface finish and the feature or defect the vision system has to detect.
DL11 illuminators are rated IP40 and CE marked, with an operating temperature range of 0° to 50° C and an optical emission of +/- 25°. Every unit undergoes a 48-hour test cycle and is delivered with its test certificate.
Twelve standard formats are in normal production, with active areas from 25 × 100 mm to 100 × 300 mm, including the 25 × 500 mm bar and the 50 × 50 mm square. Formats 25 × 600, 25 × 700 and 25 × 800 mm are available on request and may require longer production times.
Yes. Placing a diffuser glass in front of the illuminator makes an economical backlight with high luminosity. The diffuser must be positioned at the optimal distance to ensure uniformity, and it is not supplied as a standard product.
Through a 3-pin M8 connector with screw-locking collar: brown is POWER + 24 Vdc, black is the ON/OFF – PWM input (24 Vdc = ON, 0 V = OFF) and blue is GND. Cables for fixed and mobile installation from 1.5 to 10 metres are available on request.
